Bauhaus Weimar 1923 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Weimar, summer of 1923: the Bauhaus opened its first public exhibition and designed the paper to argue the same case as the objects. Geometric forms on a central axis, lettering drawn as one of the shapes, colour used to separate planes rather than to decorate them. Nothing on it is

Jean Arp Exhibition Paris Poster

From: 90,00 zł
The Jean Arp Exhibition Paris Poster captures the abstract, organic essence of Arp's art, reflecting his significant role in the Dadaist and Surrealist movements. The poster's design, featuring rhythmic black forms against a calm background, is a testament to Arp's exploration of spontaneity and controlled chance in his work. This piece

Interart Galerie Exhibition Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Flat planes in strong colour, the gallery name in a modern sans-serif across the top, dates tucked small beneath. Gallery posters of the post-war decades had to announce a show to a street where dozens of others were being announced the same way, hence abstraction, strong colour and tight typography.

Bauhaus 1923 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Weimar, 1923: the school was still arguing about what a poster should be, and the answer on this sheet is a diagonal arrangement of geometric shapes in strong colour. Type and form are treated as the same material, so the lettering belongs to the composition. It works in a study

Breakfast Art Poster

From: 90,00 zł
The kitchen still life is a tradition of its own: what sits on the table says who lives there. Here a pan is seen from directly above, three eggs just set, a torn slip below reading „o Gusto!” and a pale blue ground behind. The light comes from nowhere in

Charlie Chaplin Vintage Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A Swedish cinema poster for Chaplin's Sunnyside, released there as På solsidan. The tramp is caught mid-step with his cane up and his coat swinging into a long white shape, red petals scattered at his feet and the Swedish title set below in red script. It reads as a drawing

Woodstock Festival Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A crowd drawn as a field of small shapes, a stage suggested rather than described, lettering large in a hand-drawn face that refuses the grid. Late 1960s festivals produced a poster language of their own, printed cheaply for a weekend and left as the visual record of an era.

Monterey Grand Prix 1966 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Blocks of orange, yellow and purple cutting across the sheet at speed, racing cars silhouetted low in the frame, lettering compressed into the upper band. The poster announces the Monterey Grand Prix of 1966, part of the Canadian-American Challenge Cup, borrowing from op art and the psychedelic palette of the

Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A black field with a photograph printed in one colour over it, halftone dots visible where the figure meets the dark, the title set small against the mass. Film posters of the period often worked with two inks and a single halftone image, because that was what a distributor could

Jazz Jamboree 1969 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Overlapping shapes, warm and cool colour pushed together, lettering set by hand and slightly irregular, no instrument, no face, only movement held inside a frame. Jazz Jamboree was the Warsaw festival that from the late 1950s gave Polish graphic designers a subject they could take seriously. Improvisation, printed cheaply and

Le Corbusier Modulor Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Embrace the essence of modernist design with the Le Corbusier Modulor Poster, a tribute to his visionary architectural philosophy.

Le Corbusier Art Exhibition 1953 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A bull drawn from flat shapes and one continuous line, the body built out of black against a coloured ground, horns reduced to two strokes, the lettering in condensed capitals. The motif returns again and again in the drawings of the architect who made this sheet, part animal, part sign,

Enchanting Realm Art Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Henri Rousseau painted The Snake Charmer in 1907 without ever leaving France; the jungle came from the Paris botanical gardens and from magazines. A woman with glowing eyes plays a flute in the moonlight while snakes move toward her through the leaves. The composition is asymmetrical and flat, which is

Yayoi Kusama Window Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A frame filled with repeating shapes seen as though through an opening, the pattern continuing past the edges of the view. The composition belongs to Yayoi Kusama’s graphic work, in which a repeating field builds space without perspective: instead of a horizon an edge, instead of depth repetition.

Cheese Advertisement Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A wedge of cheese with a warm saturated surface, a board suggested beside it, lettering in a friendly arc. Food advertising found its language early: show the product large, show it warm, show the human gesture of cutting or serving, because that is what makes a picture appetising.

Chocolats Croisier Vintage Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Chocolate presented like a still life, warm browns against a lighter ground, lettering arranged above and below. Chocolate advertising was among the first to sell a feeling as well as a product, warmth, comfort, a small indulgence within reach and the best sheets treated the product as a picture.

French Alps Travel Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Mountain shapes in flat colour, snow suggested by pale areas rather than detail, a valley line drawing the eye upward. Between the wars French railways sold the Alps as a winter destination and the posters turned mountains into geometry, a style that came from printing constraints as much as from

United States Lines Vintage Travel Poster

From: 90,00 zł
The United States Lines Vintage Travel Poster captures the spirit of classic sea travel. Its bold design invites viewers on a nostalgic journey across the Atlantic. Perfect for those who appreciate the history of travel and elegant, straightforward art.

Art Deco Event Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Stepped forms stacked in symmetry with lettering fitted into the geometry, deep colour and sharp light accents, everything on a central axis. Art Deco made ornament structural, decoration was not applied to a form. It was the form and its posters sold modernity as a matter of surfaces.

Hans Arp Mondsand Abstract Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Rounded forms floating on a pale ground, each smooth and slightly irregular, arranged so they seem to hover rather than rest, with no outline and no horizon. The work reproduced is Mondsand by Hans Arp, who argued early in the twentieth century that form could be invented rather than observed.

Braque Modern Artwork Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Discover the elegance of Cubism with the Braque Modern Artwork Poster. A minimalist yet powerful display of Georges Braque's abstract vision. Ideal for those who value the confluence of art, history, and modern design.

Yellow Submarine Film Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Psychedelic shapes around a central object, colour at maximum saturation, lettering drawn as part of the illustration, perspective decorative. The late 1960s produced a brief and total marriage between music graphics and film advertising, a poster that looked like a record sleeve grown to wall size. The effect was designed

Locomotive Vintage Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A steam locomotive seen from a low angle, its front filling the sheet, smoke trailing back into the sky, lettering small in the lower corner. Railways advertised speed long before anyone could photograph it, and the answer was a drawing that made the engine look unstoppable. At poster scale the

Luchon Ski Resort Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A valley town at the foot of snowy slopes, drawn in flat planes, a track leading the eye upward, lettering small at the base. French Pyrenean resorts sold air, altitude and light long before skiing became a mass sport and the style came from railway advertising that had to read

Iconic Basquiat Art Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A head built up in layers: a ground of one strong colour, a drawing laid over it, then words and signs pushed into the same space until the face carries as much writing as likeness. The vocabulary comes from the street rather than the studio: tags, lists, borrowed symbols, letters

Japan Railways Travel Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Mountains in flat layers, a foreground suggesting a platform, the sky left almost empty and the lettering tucked into a corner. Japan's railways sold scenery rather than speed, and the designers who made these sheets applied European modernism to a Japanese landscape with unusual economy. Emptiness here is not a

Sports Vintage Tennis Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A tennis match cut down to flat planes and a handful of colours, the way clubhouse prints were drawn in the middle of the last century. The figure is caught mid-swing, the court is suggested rather than measured and the picture reads as geometry before it reads as sport. It

Michelin Tires Vintage Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Two tyres drawn as overlapping discs, treads suggested by a few curved lines, lettering loud beneath them, the whole sheet built from circles. Early tyre advertising had a problem other products did not: the object being sold was invisible on the road, so designers made the tyre itself the hero.

1948 London Olympic Games Poster

From: 90,00 zł
An athlete drawn in profile and set in front of a familiar skyline, the body simplified to a few planes and the architecture left as a photograph. The sheet is a collage rather than a painting, made in a decade when the organisers had no money for new buildings and

Aquarium Monaco Vintage Poster

From: 90,00 zł
An underwater scene reduced to bands: water above, rock below, fish as simple shapes moving across the middle, colour flat and perspective decorative. Public aquariums sold a new kind of spectacle, the sea seen from inside and posters had to explain it to people who had never seen it.

Next Wave Festival Poster

From: 90,00 zł
The Next Wave Festival opened at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 1983 as a home for work that fitted nowhere else and its first poster was Roy Lichtenstein’s. Abstract, loud and built to be read across a lobby, it treats the announcement as an event in itself. It suits

Colorful Kanji Harmony Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A graphic built from five vertical strips of brush writing, black, red, green, blue, yellow, each column of characters overlapping its neighbour. The colours are printed flat, so the script reads as pattern before it reads as language. Wide walls and low furniture suit it best. The characters were written

Collections put together by subject

A hallway with plants asks for botanical work. A kitchen asks for something plain. A child's room asks for colour that can be looked at every day without wearing out.

Start from the subject the room is already about, and the shortlist builds itself.

The collections

  • Floral — botanical prints, from Morris patterns to single stems.
  • Geometric — grids, circles and bars that organise a wall.
  • Travel — railways, resorts and the middle of the last century.
  • Music — concert posters and album sleeves at wall size.
  • Film — one-sheets and festival posters.
  • Ski — alpine resorts, drawn before photography took over.
  • Kids — animals and colour, built to survive a nursery.
  • Minimal — one image, one wall, nothing competing.

Mixing two collections

If the wall is large enough, two collections can share it — but keep one of them dominant. A third group usually breaks the effect and the wall starts reading as a set of unrelated decisions rather than a collection.

For a single large piece instead of a group, look at minimal or at the iconic prints.
