Jean Arp Exhibition Paris Poster

From: 90,00 zł
The Jean Arp Exhibition Paris Poster captures the abstract, organic essence of Arp's art, reflecting his significant role in the Dadaist and Surrealist movements. The poster's design, featuring rhythmic black forms against a calm background, is a testament to Arp's exploration of spontaneity and controlled chance in his work. This piece

Hans Arp Mondsand Abstract Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Rounded forms floating on a pale ground, each smooth and slightly irregular, arranged so they seem to hover rather than rest, with no outline and no horizon. The work reproduced is Mondsand by Hans Arp, who argued early in the twentieth century that form could be invented rather than observed.

Das Neue Heim Exhibition Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Geometric lettering in stacked blocks with a few architectural forms behind it, restrained palette, strong contrast, everything on a grid. In the 1920s exhibitions about modern living were arguments about how people should live and their posters looked like plans rather than pictures, because the subject was a method.

Yayoi Kusama Infinity Dots Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Yayoi Kusama Infinity Dots Poster showcases Yayoi Kusama's iconic artwork "Infinity Dots". Against a clean background, bold black dots take center stage, creating a visually striking composition. The poster's bold typography complements the powerful presence of the dots, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in Kusama's immersive and repetitive style.

Onigira Hot Rice Balls Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Japanese snack culture made the rice ball an everyday thing and this poster turns it into a small act of bravado: a dragon coiled around the heat. The drawing stays tight, the palette narrow and the date sits quietly at the foot of the sheet the way a printer would

Bauhaus Ausstellung Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Bars, rectangles and lettering fitted on a strict grid, colour separating one plane from another rather than decorating. Bauhaus exhibitions were arguments made in public and the posters announcing them were designed under the same rules as the objects inside, which is why they look like plans. The lettering was

Onchi Koshiro Art Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Shapes that look carved rather than drawn: a face or a form built from overlapping blocks of colour, edges rough where the block was cut, the paper showing through. Onchi Kōshirō was one of the founders of the sōsaku-hanga movement, which argued that a print should be the artist’s own

Zoo Flamingo Vintage Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A flamingo in flat colour against a plain ground, the bird reduced to a curve of neck, a body and two thin legs, lettering above and below. Zoos advertised themselves as places of wonder long before they called themselves institutions of conservation, and the poster used the animal as a

Egon Schiele Portrait Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A portrait drawn with a hard, nervous line: head slightly turned, shoulders cut by the edge of the sheet, the body reduced to angular planes, colour applied just enough to make skin and background disagree. Schiele died in 1918 at twenty-eight and his work entered the public domain in Europe

Picasso Black Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Dark forms pressed against a lighter ground, a profile broken into planes and reassembled, the drawing in heavy black with no shading at all. The profile belongs to Pablo Picasso’s graphic work and carries the argument of cubism: the picture taken apart and rebuilt from several viewpoints at once.

Picasso Ceramique 1948 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A plate seen from above, its rim a ring and its centre filled with a simplified animal or face, glaze suggested by a few flat tones. The poster commemorates the 1948 exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s ceramics, made in the years he was working in the workshops of the south of

James Brown Show Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A figure caught mid-movement, hard outlines filled with flat colour, lettering loud and slightly tilted around him, no background at all. Soul and funk shows of the 1960s were announced with posters printed cheaply and pasted fast and designers answered with exactly what the music did. The sheet was meant

Tristan Tzara Poster by Jean Arp showcases his artistic genius and abstract style, captivating art enthusiasts worldwide. With organic shapes and harmonious composition, the poster pays tribute to Arp's significant contributions to modern art.

Walker Art Center Exhibition 1967 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A composition built from a few bold shapes set off-centre, the institution’s name running along the base in a modern sans-serif, colour in flat blocks. American museums in the 1960s began commissioning posters from the designers and artists they exhibited, so the sheet looked like the work inside.

Le Corbusier Petite Confidences Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Le Corbusier Petite Confidences Poster showcases his architectural genius and modernist charm, preserving his legacy for admirers and inspiring new generations. Its meticulous reproduction allows enthusiasts to appreciate the bold design and creative vision of this visionary artist and architect.

Georges Bourgeois L'Inhumaine Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Marcel L’Herbier’s L’Inhumaine was a 1924 film built as a showcase for modern design, with sets by painters and architects of the day. Georges Bourgeois drew the poster as pure Art Deco: stepped geometry, a profile in silhouette and lettering that behaves like architecture. It suits a hallway or a

Yayoi Kusama 1987 Exhibition Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Yayoi Kusama 1987 Exhibition Poster represents Yayoi Kusama's 1987 exhibition at the Musee d'Art Moderne De La Ville De Paris. Against a clean background, bold black dots take center stage, showcasing Kusama's iconic motif. The bold typography complements the dots, capturing the essence of Kusama's avant-garde art and inviting viewers

Egon Schiele Secession 49 Ausstellung Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Typography as the subject: lettering stacked in a narrow column, weights changing line to line, a small block of colour holding the composition. Exhibition posters of the Vienna Secession treated a notice as a piece of design, type drawn rather than set, space used as an active element.

Close Encounter 02 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A light source breaking through darkness from below, its outline irregular, the landscape reduced to a silhouette, lettering small at the top. Science fiction posters of the 1970s discovered that a glow could do the work of a monster, light from an unseen source, a horizon, a title.

Moon Series Artistic Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A moon reduced to a disc, its surface suggested by a few textured marks, the sky a flat field of colour, composition centred and scale deliberately ambiguous. It could be graphic or a portrait. Images of the moon sit between illustration and diagram and contemporary graphic work borrowed both habits

Black posters, and how much a wall can hold back

Black does the work of a colour without warming a room. On a sheet it is weight: it decides where the eye lands before anything else on the wall gets a chance.

The Peugeot sheet, where a dark car is blurred into motion and its name runs in deep green with its own reflection beneath it, gives black almost everything and lets a small red, white and blue cockade carry the colour. The Geneva horse show poster, a rider in black seen from behind on a pale horse, with a second horse in orange behind and a pink ground, turns the trick around: the black is the figure, not the field.

Both hold a pale wall without making it heavy.
