Bauhaus Weimar 1923 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Weimar, summer of 1923: the Bauhaus opened its first public exhibition and designed the paper to argue the same case as the objects. Geometric forms on a central axis, lettering drawn as one of the shapes, colour used to separate planes rather than to decorate them. Nothing on it is

Bauhaus 1923 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Weimar, 1923: the school was still arguing about what a poster should be, and the answer on this sheet is a diagonal arrangement of geometric shapes in strong colour. Type and form are treated as the same material, so the lettering belongs to the composition. It works in a study

Hans Arp Mondsand Abstract Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Rounded forms floating on a pale ground, each smooth and slightly irregular, arranged so they seem to hover rather than rest, with no outline and no horizon. The work reproduced is Mondsand by Hans Arp, who argued early in the twentieth century that form could be invented rather than observed.

Braque Modern Artwork Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Discover the elegance of Cubism with the Braque Modern Artwork Poster. A minimalist yet powerful display of Georges Braque's abstract vision. Ideal for those who value the confluence of art, history, and modern design.

Aspen Winter Jazz Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Abstract shapes in warm colour on a diagonal, lettering set by hand rather than in a standard face, four or five flat notes and no border to hold it in. Jazz festivals discovered early that the poster could be part of the performance, commissioned from artists, printed in small runs,

Laid Back Retro Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A figure leaning back in a chair, drawn with a light line and filled with muted colour, a few objects around them suggesting a room without describing one. Contemporary work borrowing the grammar of 1950s illustration: thin outlines, flat fills, a deliberately ordinary subject. The mood is borrowed; the drawing

Bauhaus Exhibition Zurich 1931 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Rectangles and bars with lettering set as one of the planes rather than placed on top, colour limited to a few strong notes, the whole sheet on a strict grid. By the early 1930s Bauhaus ideas were travelling and exhibitions abroad became the way of presenting the method to a

Ellsworth Kelly Orange X Poster

From: 90,00 zł
An X of solid orange filling the sheet from corner to corner, the arms equal in width, white left only in the four triangles it creates. The poster commemorates an exhibition that opened on 15 March 1966 at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles and the image belongs to Ellsworth

Matsutani In The Morning 02 Poster

From: 90,00 zł

Rotterdam-South America Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Ocean liners sold distance the way airlines later sold speed and a route from Rotterdam to South America was a promise worth drawing. This one does it with modern lines, a ship reduced to silhouette and a horizon that tilts. It suits a study or a hallway with a travel

Heart Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A heart reduced to geometry: two arcs and a point, an even contour, one strong colour, nothing shaded. The heart is one of the few symbols that survived industrial design intact, played on cards, painted on shop signs, stuck on stickers for three centuries and it can be simplified until

Stuart Davis Odol Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Flat planes of colour arranged so a package, a letterform and a background occupy the same space without perspective, edges hard everywhere. American painting between the wars borrowed its structure from commercial design and its rhythm from jazz, assembling signs, words and packages into compositions that refuse depth.

Noland Turnsole Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Bands of colour running edge to edge, each a different width, the surface flat and unmixed, no frame and no centre. The painting belongs to Kenneth Noland’s Turnsole series of the 1960s, where the picture is reduced to the behaviour of adjacent hues and the eye does the rest.

Bauhaus Ausstellung Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Bars, rectangles and lettering fitted on a strict grid, colour separating one plane from another rather than decorating. Bauhaus exhibitions were arguments made in public and the posters announcing them were designed under the same rules as the objects inside, which is why they look like plans. The lettering was

Matsutani Propagation Poster

From: 90,00 zł
The Matsutani Propagation Poster is an arresting display of Takesada Matsutani's unique artistic vision, blending bold forms with deep, resonant colors. This poster embodies the spirit of innovation and is a vibrant tribute to the Gutai movement's legacy.

Fusion Gallery Floral No 4 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Large floral forms in flat colour, overlapping so petals read as planes rather than as a bouquet, no vase, no table, the edges cutting into the composition. A contemporary graphic using the grammar of mid-century botanical printing, at a scale those printers rarely had. Colour carries the composition; line is

Circle of Men Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Figures arranged around a centre, drawn as simple verticals with heads suggested by one curve, hands joined, the circle is the composition and the people define it. The ring of joined figures appears on posters for unions, festivals and campaigns because it says the same thing in every language.

Picasso Black Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Dark forms pressed against a lighter ground, a profile broken into planes and reassembled, the drawing in heavy black with no shading at all. The profile belongs to Pablo Picasso’s graphic work and carries the argument of cubism: the picture taken apart and rebuilt from several viewpoints at once.

Jazz Montreux 1983 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Figures drawn in one continuous outline, dancing across a saturated ground, bodies simplified until the movement is carried by the shape rather than the detail. The language came out of the New York subway drawings of the early 1980s and travelled into posters, murals and record sleeves, because a line

Yayoi Kusama Infinity Nets Poster

From: 90,00 zł
An all-over surface of small arcs, painted without a sketch and without a focus point, so the eye keeps travelling and never settles, the pattern running from edge to edge. The nets were started in New York on canvases far larger than the painter, and the intention was repetition as

Bauhaus Ausstellung 1924 Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Geometric elements on a strict grid, lettering treated as one of the shapes, a handful of strong colour notes and nothing else. By the mid-1920s the printed sheet was the Bauhaus’s main argument in public: the school claimed that typography, layout and object belonged to a single discipline.

Bauhaus Bayer Poster

From: 90,00 zł
SCHLESISCHES HEIM in small type at the top left, and the rest is geometry: a red diagonal crossing the sheet, five black wedges growing along it, one thin red rule below. No image, no ornament — a poster built entirely from planes and angles. Pigment print on 210 gsm Hahnemühle paper,

Bauhaus Laszlo Poster - Iconic Modern Art Design Tribute

From: 90,00 zł
A composition built from one geometric idea: a circle divided, a rectangle cut at an angle, a diagonal holding two planes apart, colour limited to a few flat notes. László Moholy-Nagy taught at the Bauhaus and argued that design should work with light, space and construction rather than decoration.

Matisse Papers Decoupes

From: 90,00 zł
Shapes cut rather than drawn: leaves, spirals, irregular forms laid on a flat ground, edges sharp, colour single and unmixed, the composition held by rhythm. When painting became physically difficult, Henri Matisse turned to cutting coloured paper until the cut edge became the line. The blade replaced the brush as

Theo van Doesburg Bauhaus Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Rectangles and lines on a strict grid, colour used as structure rather than decoration, the lettering in a geometric face that matches the shapes. Van Doesburg founded De Stijl and argued that painting, architecture and typography should obey one set of rules, then taught that at the Bauhaus.

Mondrian Composition No. II Poster

From: 90,00 zł
Black lines of different weights dividing a white ground into rectangles, a few filled with primary colour, nothing shaded, nothing centred, balance from unequal parts. De Stijl argued that painting should work with the elements of the medium itself and that grammar later spread into furniture, architecture and print.

Le Cycliste Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A cyclist in profile, body bent over the bars, the bicycle reduced to two wheels and a frame, motion suggested by posture rather than speed lines. Cycling posters belong to the years when a race was a public event rather than a broadcast and the rider was drawn as a

San Francisco Film Festival Poster

From: 90,00 zł
A graphic reduced to a few shapes and one idea: a form suggesting a screen, a beam or an eye, set on a flat ground with the title in clean type. The poster belongs to the graphic tradition that grew out of film title design in the 1950s and 1960s,

Geometric posters and the order they bring

Nothing in this collection is drawn loosely. Every edge has been placed, and the colour is laid on in flat areas rather than modelled, which is what keeps the shape readable instead of softening it.

That makes these prints unusually good at a job most pictures fail at: holding a large empty wall without adding another texture to the room.

Why geometry works on a wall

A geometric print gives the eye somewhere to go. On a blank wall, a grid or a set of concentric circles sets up a rhythm the room did not have, and it does it without competing with furniture, plants or a rug.

It also survives change. You can repaint, move the sofa, change the rug — the print still reads, because it was never describing a scene that had to match anything.

Where these prints belong

Wide walls above a sofa or a sideboard, stairwells, corridors, home offices. A single large piece at 70×100 cm is usually better than three small ones; if you want a group, keep the frames identical and the spacing even.

For the softer end of the same idea, see minimal; for the historical version, the Bauhaus prints are where most of this language was written.

Sizes, paper and delivery

Pigment print on 210 gsm Hahnemühle paper, sizes from 30×40 to 70×100 cm plus A3 and A2. Frame not included. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours and arrive in 3–5 working days in the EU, in a tracked tube.

Also worth a look: Picasso for geometric portraits, and Kandinsky for geometry that behaves like music.
