Hantai Red Exhibition Poster

From: 20,40 €
A surface covered in small repeated marks, spacing uneven, colour built up in patches so the field is dense at the centre and thinner at the edges. The poster belongs to the exhibition work of Simon Hantaï, who folded and knotted a canvas before painting it, so the pattern was

Picasso Black Poster

From: 20,40 €
Dark forms pressed against a lighter ground, a profile broken into planes and reassembled, the drawing in heavy black with no shading at all. The profile belongs to Pablo Picasso’s graphic work and carries the argument of cubism: the picture taken apart and rebuilt from several viewpoints at once.

Tapies For The Exhibition Poster

From: 20,40 €
A surface rather than a picture: scratched, scraped, layered, with a few marks that could be letters or could be wounds, earth and grey throughout. The work belongs to Antoni Tàpies and to post-war European painting that turned to the material itself, plaster, sand, cloth, as a way of refusing

Red Hot Chili Peppers 1991 Concert Poster

From: 20,40 €
A sun at the centre of the sheet, its rays drawn as straight bars, the lettering built into the rays so that type and light are the same shape, two inks only, one orange and one black. Screen-printed gig posters have their own rules: a bold silhouette and lettering that

Picasso 1954 Paris Exhibition Poster

From: 20,40 €
A figure drawn with a single confident line, the head turned, shoulders suggested rather than described, printed in one colour with the lettering small and formal beneath. The sheet belongs to Pablo Picasso’s 1954 exhibition in Paris and post-war Paris posters often reproduced a drawing rather than a painting.

Picasso Ceramique 1948 Poster

From: 20,40 €
A plate seen from above, its rim a ring and its centre filled with a simplified animal or face, glaze suggested by a few flat tones. The poster commemorates the 1948 exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s ceramics, made in the years he was working in the workshops of the south of

Yayoi Kusama Paris Exhibition Poster

From: 20,40 €
The Yayoi Kusama Paris Exhibition Poster is a captivating celebration of the artist's groundbreaking exhibition, capturing her signature abstract patterns that have mesmerized the art world. This poster is not only a visual spectacle but also embodies Kusama's exploration of infinity and interconnectedness, rendered in her iconic red and white

Yayoi Kusama Infinity Nets Poster

From: 20,40 €
An all-over surface of small arcs, painted without a sketch and without a focus point, so the eye keeps travelling and never settles, the pattern running from edge to edge. The nets were started in New York on canvases far larger than the painter, and the intention was repetition as

Frida on White Bench Poster

From: 20,40 €
A seated figure on a plain white bench, drawn frontally, the gaze held straight at the viewer, the background almost empty. Frida Kahlo painted her own life with a directness unusual for her time, her work entered the public domain in Europe in 2025, seventy years after her death.

James Brown Show Poster

From: 20,40 €
A figure caught mid-movement, hard outlines filled with flat colour, lettering loud and slightly tilted around him, no background at all. Soul and funk shows of the 1960s were announced with posters printed cheaply and pasted fast and designers answered with exactly what the music did. The sheet was meant

Bauhaus Bayer Poster

From: 20,40 €
SCHLESISCHES HEIM in small type at the top left, and the rest is geometry: a red diagonal crossing the sheet, five black wedges growing along it, one thin red rule below. No image, no ornament — a poster built entirely from planes and angles. Pigment print on 210 gsm Hahnemühle paper,

Yayoi Kusama Pumpkin

From: 20,40 €
A rounded form covered in a net of repeating dots, each one placed by hand, the pattern bending where the surface curves, the object filling the sheet. The pumpkin is one of the recurring subjects in Yayoi Kusama’s work and the dot is the unit that builds it, repeated until

Schjerfbeck The Family Heirloom Poster

From: 20,40 €
An interior with a single figure in muted, close-valued colour, a chair, a wall, a window, everything quiet, the surface worked over. Nordic painting at the beginning of the twentieth century moved away from narrative towards reduction and Helene Schjerfbeck spent decades simplifying her own work in that direction.

Whales Poster

From: 20,40 €
The visual language here grew out of mid-century screen printing rather than natural history, which is why the whale is a handful of shapes and one slow gradient instead of an animal portrait. It holds a wall without announcing itself. It settles best in a bedroom or a reading corner,

Pure Gold Poster

From: 20,40 €
A field of gold that changes across the sheet: warmer where the light hits, cooler at the edges, a single darker element holding the centre. Metallic grounds have been used in painting and printing for centuries because they refuse to stay still, gold reflects the room rather than describing it,

Organic Gold Poster

From: 20,40 €
A single black line looping and crossing itself over translucent brown and gold shapes, all of it printed on a mottled, grainy ground that looks like old paper or oxidised metal. No text, no frame — just line, stain and texture. Pigment print on 210 gsm Hahnemühle paper, sizes from 30×40

The Velvet Underground & Andy Warhol Poster

From: 20,40 €
A single object presented without comment: a shape repeated across a plain ground, its surface in flat colour, its outline clean, the lettering small. The poster comes from Andy Warhol’s 1968 college lecture tour, at which The Velvet Underground appeared, an evening that mixed a lecture, a screening and a

Les Diablerets Vintage Ski Poster

From: 20,40 €
A snow field rising to a ridge, skiers small against the slope, the sky flat and pale, lettering unobtrusive at the base. Swiss ski resorts built their advertising on one proposition, the mountain exists, come and stand on it and answered with space rather than detail. The snow is bare

Cannes 1946 Poster

From: 20,40 €
A central emblem with lettering arranged symmetrically above and below, restrained palette, formal drawing. The Cannes Film Festival held its first edition in 1946 after years of wartime postponement, and its early posters were designed as cultural statements rather than as advertising. The restraint is the message: a festival announcing

Montreux Vintage Ski Poster

From: 20,40 €
A mountain drawn as a solid mass against a pale sky, a train suggested by a line entering from one side, skiers reduced to small dark figures on the slope. Swiss resort posters of the mid-century sold access as much as altitude: the mountain was the picture, but the railway

The Velvet Underground Poster

From: 20,40 €
A composition built from repetition rather than from a subject: a shape repeated across the sheet, colour laid on flat, lettering pressed into the pattern. New York in the late 1960s produced a graphic language that refused West Coast psychedelia, harder edges, colder colour, imagery taken from the city rather

Zermatt 1932 Poster

From: 20,40 €
A mountain as a solid mass against a pale sky, snow suggested by absence of colour, a single line of track leading in, lettering small at the base. Swiss resorts sold altitude and air before they sold skiing and the thirties posters developed a language of geometry instead of scenery.

Walker Art Center Exhibition 1967 Poster

From: 20,40 €
A composition built from a few bold shapes set off-centre, the institution’s name running along the base in a modern sans-serif, colour in flat blocks. American museums in the 1960s began commissioning posters from the designers and artists they exhibited, so the sheet looked like the work inside.

Georges Bourgeois L'Inhumaine Poster

From: 20,40 €
Marcel L’Herbier’s L’Inhumaine was a 1924 film built as a showcase for modern design, with sets by painters and architects of the day. Georges Bourgeois drew the poster as pure Art Deco: stepped geometry, a profile in silhouette and lettering that behaves like architecture. It suits a hallway or a

Nice Soleil Fleurs Poster

From: 20,40 €
A coastline with a promenade, palm trees as a few dark strokes, the sea one band of blue and the sky a lighter one, lettering large and relaxed. The French Riviera sold itself after the war as a place of light rather than monuments, and its posters answered with colour

Blue Birds Poster

From: 20,40 €
Two black birds wheeling across a night-blue field, with a crescent moon, three stars and the loose brushwork of the sky left visible. The birds are cut out with a cream outline, so they sit on the blue rather than in it. Signed at the lower right. Pigment print on 210

Metropolitan Opera Opening 1966 Poster

From: 20,40 €
A graphic mark rather than an illustration: geometric lines, a strong central form, lettering set tight and formal. When the Metropolitan Opera moved to its new house in 1966, the opening was announced the way a building is announced, with order, symmetry and very little decoration. Symmetry does the work

San Francisco Film Festival Poster

From: 20,40 €
A graphic reduced to a few shapes and one idea: a form suggesting a screen, a beam or an eye, set on a flat ground with the title in clean type. The poster belongs to the graphic tradition that grew out of film title design in the 1950s and 1960s,

Chapell St. Pierre Poster

From: 20,40 €
Jean Cocteau for the Chapelle Saint-Pierre at Villefranche-sur-Mer: a fisherman drawn in one continuous line, a turquoise wash behind him, and the dedication written by hand across the sheet in Cocteau’s own looping script. Pigment print on 210 gsm Hahnemühle paper, sizes from 30×40 to 70×100 cm plus A3 and A2.

Posters by colour: start from the wall, not the name

Every page here holds work that shares a dominant tone. Black and brown are the quiet ones — they hold a room together without asking for attention. Blue and green cool a space down; red and yellow do the opposite, and they do it immediately.

The grouping is a starting point, not a rule. Plenty of these posters belong to two pages at once: a Bauhaus print can be red and geometric, a Japanese woodblock can be blue and botanical.

How to use a colour page

Decide what the room is missing rather than what it already has. A room full of wood and clay usually wants one cool note; a white room that feels unfinished wants one warm one. Pick the shade the space lacks and the wall starts doing work for you.

A single strong colour carries further than a careful mix of several. If you are buying two posters, let one lead and keep the other quiet — see minimal for prints that will not fight back.

Which tone goes where

  • Black — hallways, studies, anywhere the wall is beside a door or a shelf.
  • Blue — bedrooms and bathrooms; it reads as distance and air.
  • Red — one accent wall, never two. It advances and stays forward.
  • Yellow — kitchens and children's rooms; it is the closest thing to daylight on a wall.
  • Green and brown — rooms with plants, wood floors and clay; they sit beside natural materials rather than on top of them.

Paper, sizes and delivery

Everything is a pigment print on 210 gsm Hahnemühle paper, in sizes from 30×40 to 70×100 cm plus A3 and A2. Frames are not included — a thin black or natural oak frame keeps flat colour clean. Orders ship within 24 hours and arrive in 3–5 working days inside the EU, in a tracked tube.

Not sure where to start? The iconic collection and the geometric prints are the two easiest entry points.
